 My name is Roger, and I'm an independent Macintosh Consultant based out of Southeast Portland, Oregon. I'm Apple Certified, Cisco Certified and CompTIA A+ Certified. I've been working with computers for 18 years, most recently dedicating all of my focus to the Macintosh platform after years of frustrating programming and administrative work with Windows PCs. I've worked for and with a myriad of companies in the industry, most notably Intel, Dell, Hyundai Semiconductor, Microsoft, Apple, Redhat, Novell, SGI, IBM, ATI, nVidia, and Cisco. Locally, I've worked with Oregon3D, Oaktree Digital, NuMedics, and OHSU. At Intel, I helped create what is now the Intel Core 2 Duo processor that is used in all new Macintosh computers. I've been working almost entirely with the Macintosh platform for the past 5 years, drawn in by its Unix roots. I have direct contacts with Apple Computer, and work closely with other experienced Apple consultants to overcome challenging issues.
